With The Big Bang Theory in mind, I felt it was time for a big bang to happen to the Digital Monkey website.... I'd like to welcome you to the new home for Digital Monkey Photography.
This NEW website will be the home for everything to do with Digital Monkey Photography. More than just showing off my photography, I want to share my experiences of being in the Royal Canadian Navy and serving my country within the Canadian Forces. The places I have been and the people I have met along the way are a huge part of why I've decided to do this.
For me photography isn't about taking great photos, it's about the story of how you got that photo and who you met along the way. In many instances the story of how and who is so much more fascinating than the photo itself.
I started Digital Monkey with the purpose of offering photography services to Military Members and their families free of charge, a way to give back to those who sacrifice so much. This has and always will be the largest part of what I do but now I also want to help tell the stories of those who serve and their families. A picture has always been said to be worth a thousand words, I want to take those words and make them mean something more.
Within the Information page you'll find everything that Digital Monkey Photography has to offer. These are not limitations in what we can do but ideas and projects that most of you have already thought of.
I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and although the site is very much still a work in progress, I will be updating it as fast as possible.
